Something for Alex 5k Trail Run/Kids Mile Fun Run
We are happy to host our 3rd annual Something For Alex 5k Trail Run and Kids Mile Run to raise money for the Something For Alex Scholarship Fund. The event will be hosted at White Creek Cattle. Come spend the morning with us before you watch your favorite football game.
After the race, we will have lunch!
We will have age category winners – More Details to follow.
Timeline:
– 9:00 am — gates open
– 9:15 am — registration
– 10:00 am — kids 1-mile fun run
– 11:00am — 5k fun run/walk

5K Trail run $40
Kids Mile Fun Run $25
Location: White Creek Cattle Farm 2294 Kitchens Rd., Thomson GA. 30824
Adult 5k Trail Run
Course Details:
This 5k course starts with a half-mile run through open pasture before entering a tricky half-mile of twisting forest trails.
The second mile begins with another half mile of open field running before returning to the forest for a much flatter portion along White Creek. (Possibly to be utilized for future events)
The third mile leads off with a mix of fields and shade before entering a wooded creek bottom for the final bit of mile three.
Finally, the last 2/10 is an all-out sprint to the shade of the hay barn where our timing volunteers will help you note your total time for your run.
